US Non Farm payrolls have declined by 54,000 in August, against market expectations of a 100,000 decline, while the jobless rate edged up to 9.6% in August from 9.5% in July. Furthermore, July's payrolls change has been revised up to a 54,000 decline, from the 131,000 fall previously estimated.

The CAD has also soared against the Europeans, and the EUR/CAD retreat from 1.3565 extended to 1.3380 low, while the GBP/CAD fell from 1.6250 area, all the way to a fresh 2-week low at 1.6090.
