EUR/AUD hits fresh all time low below 1.3800 after job report

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The Australian dollar rose sharply across the board after better-than-expected job figures coming from Australia that revealed that 30,900 new positions were created in August 2010, exceeding the median forecast for 25,000. In particular, against the Euro, the Aussie reached a fresh all time high at 1.3787 minutes after the release.

EUR/AUD bounced slightly from its record low to levels right above 1.3800 where it has been consolidating within the last 2 trading hours, 0.36% below its previous close.

Against the Kiwi, the Euro hit a 10-week low during yesterday’s American session at 1.7558 and currently EUR/NZD trades in a lateral pattern somewhat higher around 1.7620.
