The association’s vice chairman, Vu Thanh Mai, expects 40,000 university and college students to help out with the campaign and convey the message “Be confident, we will stand by you.”

As part of their duties, they will stand near railway stations, bus stations, busy intersections and school gates with pamphlets to inform examinees from other provinces about accommodation, examination procedures and more.

For the candidates, there will be such services as stress counseling, and cheap or even free transport by motorcycle taxi in June and July.

The campaign’s organizers are the Ministry of Education and Training, Thanh Nien and the stationery firm Thien Long, which will hold a photo competition called “We Are With You” to promote the campaign and its goals.

Running from May 30 until the end of July, the photo contest will have total prize money of VND50 million ($2,860).
